Case against a former local travel agent gets delayed again

Former Fort St. John travel agent Linda Gentles has seen her next court date delayed again.

She was originally supposed to appear November 19th after the court agreed to give her more time to obtain counsel.  This happened on October 15th, 2008.  Now the court has given Gentles another extension until January 15th, 2009.
  

She faces 3 charges of breach of undertaking or recognizance, 11 charges of unauthorized use of credit card data, and 4 charges of obtaining credit by false pretenses. The charges are related to a credit card scam Gentles was allegedly operating out of a local travel agency.
