Meteor Shower over Alberta and Saskatchewan

Night turned into day last night, in parts of the Prairies, where a suspected meteor streaked across the sky.
Marcel Gobeil, who lives near Edmonton, says the light was a bluish grey, and lasted about 10 seconds.
He says for a few moments, he thought someone set off fireworks, over his house.
The light show caused so much excitement in Lloydminster, on the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, the Mounties asked people to stop calling them about it.
Initial reports suggest it came down, somewhere, between Lloydminister and Melfort, Saskatchewan, northeast of Saskatoon.
