Local Crime Reduction Team makes Arrests

Six offenders wanted on outstanding warrants have now been arrested in the past week, by the Fort St. John RCMP Crime Reduction Team.

The latest case involved a 24 year old Fort St. John resident and, their search for him led the Mounties yesterday, to an address near Farmington.

There, a suspect jumped out of a second storey window and escaped but, he was later located and arrested in a Fort St. John apartment building.

Police also recovered a missing 2007, Chevy Silverado crewcab, near the scene of the arrest.

However, to date they have not laid any charges against the suspect in connection with that theft.

He’s expected to appear in court later today.
