This is day one of the 5th annual three day Rhyason Contracting "Light a Moose" fund raising campaign, on the grounds of the Fort St. John Hospital.
It is part of the Hospital Foundations 12th annual "Be AN Angel Campaign" and this year all the funds raised will go towards the 1.3 million dollar "CT Scanner Campaign". The Be An Angel Campaign goal is $300,000 and, the Light a Moose target is $30,000.
Once again this year, for each donation another light is added to the Moose sign on the grounds and, there are several ways to contribute. One is online with your credit card by clicking here and, you can donate any amount on a monthly basis. You can also visit the hospital grounds or call 250-787-7100.
In addition to credit card and cash donations, cheques made payable, to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.
At ten o’clock Friday morning Mayor Jim Eglinski and, Councilors Lori Ackerman and Larry Evans, will be on the hospital grounds, to make the more than $55,000, Oil and Gas Conference donation, approved Monday by City Council.
The Foundation is hoping to reach the Scanner Campaign target, prior to Monday evening, when it light’s the Christmas tree, on the hospital grounds, at 5.30.
