Fire decimates hotel in Hudson's Hope

The municipality of Hudson’s Hope has confirmed a fire has seriously damaged the Peace Glen Hotel. The hotel, which is located in the downtown area, is one of only two hotels in Hudson’s Hope. This is not the first fire for the hotel, which was originally constructed in 1929; the Peace Glen was rebuilt in the 1960s after a fire in 1957 claimed most of the structure.

The hotel is attached to a pub, but sources have not yet confirmed whether the pub was also damaged in the fire.
