Flyers win 6-2 in Fairview

A short benched Flyers team posted a win in Fairview on Friday night.

The game was tied 2-2 after 20 minutes of play, but from there on in Fort St. John controlled the game. Jeff Fast scored two goals late in the second, with Todd Alexander and Chris Ford adding insurance markers, en route to a 6-2 win.

The other Fort St. John goals were scored by Wade Hocking and Jeff Shipton, with the Flyers outshooting the Kings 45-33.

The Flyers look to make it eight straight on Saturday night when they welcome the Lakeland Eagles to the NPA.

Game time is 8:30 pm.
