FSJ Man Arrested in PG Homicide

The Fort St. John RCMP have arrested a man for the homicide of a Prince George resident.

The North District Major Crime Section with the Prince George Detachment Serious Crime Unit and the Fort St. John Detachment arrested Jesse Norman Sweder of Fort St. John.  Jesse is 27 years old and has been charged with the murder of Peter Letendre.

The shooting death of Peter occurred on December 11th, 2004 on Norwood Street in Prince George.  He was scheduled for his first court appearance today in Fort St. John.

The Crown Counsel Special Prosecutions Unit, which focuses on organized crime, will be handling the case.
