Ookapiks win in P.G.

The NPSS Ookapiks girls volleyball team were at a big tourney in Prince George over the weekend, and they continued their great form, losing only two sets on the way to the final, where they would face host Prince George Secondary.

It looked like the first set of the final was way out of reach, but the girls made a late comeback to win 27-25. In the second set, they kept the ball rolling, winning 25-18 to take the match, and the gold medal. Dana Cranston was once again named tournament MPV

The girls have the zone tournament next weekend in Dawson Creek, where they will play for a birth at provincials, which are in Kelowna at the end of the month.
