Local Election into its final Week

The city’s two mayoralty candidates are into the final week of a high energy campaign prior to Saturday’s Civic Election. Wednesday is the final day for advance voting in the city, and once again the poll at the North Peace Arena will be open from 8am to 8pm. Two hundred and forty people took advantage of the first day of advance voting last week, which is up from previous years. There are no longer any restrictions on advance voting, but you’re again reminded voters are required to present two pieces of identification—at least one with their signature and one with their address.
