The Fort St. John Senior Flyers lost 4-2 to the Stony Plain Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
The Flyers were coming off a big win on Saturday evening, and had a big start Sunday afternoon, with a very fast and physical start to the game. After one period, the score was 1-0 flyers.
Early in the second, Matt Alexander added a powerplay goal (the Flyers’ first and only PP goal of the series) but Stony Plain would soon begin to dominate. The Eagles would score 4 straight goals, 3 of them on the powerplay, and win the game 4-2.
