Flyers win 6-1 over the Grande Prairie Athletics
The Flyers were out for revenge when they went up against the Grande Prairie Athletics on Thursday night.
Within the first few minutes of the game Matt Shuya opened the scoring for the Flyers, and they continued to widen their lead, leading 4-0 by the end of the first.
The second period was fairly uneventful, with the Flyers adding only one more. After adding a sixth goal midway through the third, Brenan Jones scored a late goal for GP, to put the Athletics on the board and ruin Troy Hunt’s shutout bid.
