Two down and three to go, in the series of North Peace civic election forums being held this week.
The one on seniors issues, featuring the Fort St. John mayoralty and council candidates was held yesterday afternoon and another, featuring the District of Taylor council candidates last night.
Tonight, the focus shifts to the all issues debate in Fort St. John, scheduled for 6.30 at the Quality Inn/Northern Grand Hotel.
This is an opportunity for those with concerns about the process that resulted in last May’s controversial 83.6 million dollar tax increase budget to put those concerns before the people who passed that budget.
Both mayoralty candidates and all 11 council candidates, including the seven incumbents, are expected to participate and, the three hour forum will be broadcast live on Moose-FM and, will be streamed live on Moose-FM.ca and Energeticcity.ca..
Tomorrow night, the nine mayoralty and council candidates in Hudson’s Hope will meet, at the Hudson’s Hope School at 7 o’clock.

Then, at the same time on Thursday the three Peace River Regional District electoral area “C” candidates will take part, in another forum at the Quality Inn in Fort St. John.
