With the 2008 Municipal Election in less than 2 weeks, the first local All Candidates Forum will be Monday afternoon in Fort St. John.
The Fort St. John Candidates will face off in a forum at the Senior Citizens Hall Monday at 1pm. The forum will focus on Senior’s issues in the community.
With Fred Jarvis voted in by aclamation, the forum will feature all the candidates running for city council. The forum will take place at the Taylor School from 7pm to 9pm. Energeticcity.ca will have a complete recording of the forum posted to the site Monday. All the other forums will be streamed on Energeticcity.ca following the events. The Fort St. John Forum on Tuesday will be broadcast live on 100.1 Moose FM and Energeticcity.ca
Tuesday night, Fort St. John’s candidates will debate the issues at the Quality Inn at 6:30pm. Wednesday night, candidates in Hudson’s Hope will meet at Hudson’s Hope School at 7pm, and Thursday night, Peace River Regional District candidates will hold their forum at the Quality Inn in Fort St. John at 7pm. All forums are open to the public.
Your first chance to vote in Fort St. John will be Tuesday November 5th from 8am to 8pm at the North Peace Arena.
