BC Housing Sales

If you thought housing sales were tanking across B-C this year, the B-C Real Estate Association says you are right.
Association chief economist Cameron Muir says residential sales are expected to plunge 28 per cent, between 2007 and the end of this year.
Muir says rising fuel prices put a chill on sales — and the deep freeze set in with the calamity in global financial markets.
He predicts housing sales will increase just four per cent in 2009 and there will be an estimated nine per cent drop in prices.
