Halloween Safety

With Halloween falling on a Friday this year there is extra concern associated with the celebration.

In recent years the annual event has become as well associated with adult parties as it has with children’s door-to-door search for treats.

Thus, police and fire departments are urging celebrators to exercise restraint and, are reminding party goers who consumer alcohol, to stay out of their vehicles.

They’re also reminding motorists to be on the lookout for children, on the streets, particuarly in residential neighborhoods.

And, parents are again being reminded to ensure costumes do not restrict movement or vision.
