Duplex Fire Monday Morning

At approximately 2:28am Monday, RCMP and Fort St. John Fire Crews responded to a duplex fire at 8821 101st Ave.

The residents were quickly evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Fire Department was able to quickly extinguish the fire without incident. The Police and Fire Department believe the fire was possibly started near a garbage can located at the front of the residence.

The cause is still under investigation, however police and fire do not believe it to be suspicious.
