Mayoral candidate Bruce Lantz is promising to bring sweeping changes to city hall if elected.
Speaking on Moose FM’s Issues and Answers this morning, Lantz said that in this time of economic turmoil, the city needed to return to the cautious approach of earlier city governments.

Lantz said that, if elected, he plans to re-implement a 0% tax increase policy and put a freeze on any new capital expenditures for a six month review period. He also plans to reassess where Fair Share funding is directed in the community in order to “live within the taxpayers’ means.”
