Local candidates in the upcoming federal election are now offering comment on the closure of the Takama mill in Fort Nelson.
Yesterday, Canfor announced the mill would be closing indefinitely after its current inventory was depleted near the end of this month.
NDP candidate for Prince George-Peace River Betty Bekkering says her party would create a strong strategy to address the wave of mill closures across BC.
