The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation has just announced another major donation to their CT Scanner fund–but this time, the money is coming from another city.

The Fort Nelson Hospital Foundation has come forward with a $10,000 donation towards the scanner. Board Chair Laurie Dolan says having the machine in Fort St. John will save Fort Nelson residents the additional hour of travel required to get to the scanner in Dawson Creek.

Fort St. John Hospital Foundation Executive Director Janice Isberg says the foundation is on track to reach their goal of 1,300,000 dollars by January 1st of next year.
