Tuesday marked the beginning of the annual Oil and Gas Conference, held this year in Fort St. John.
The conference got underway with a series of free pre-conference workshops on dealing with the labour crunch, selling yourself to prospective clients, and creating better management practice.
Tuesday’s events wrap up with a welcome reception from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The conference continues Wednesday with workshops on topics ranging from the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement to Future Energy Developments in our region.
Organizer Lori Ackerman says attendees can also look forward to Keynote speakers including Richard Neufeld, as well as high quality entertainment.
