Advance polling for this month’s federal election begins October 3rd. Locally there will be polling stations at the Fort St. John Curling Rink, and the Charlie Lake Community Hall. They will be open October 3, 4, and 6 from noon to 8pm. Voters are again reminded to bring their voting card, as well as valid identification, in accordance with instructions on the back of their voting card. Those who haven’t received a card can still vote in advance, provided they bring valid ID. A list of accepted types of ID is also available on the Elections Canada website.
