Lori Ackerman, Theresa Mucci-Rodgers file nomination papers

In civil election news, at last check two more hopefuls have added their name to the municipal election ballot. Incumbent city councillor Lori Ackerman has filed her papers this morning.

If elected, it would be Ackerman’s second term on the city council.

Also filing last night was political newcomer Theresa Mucci-Rodgers. Residents may remember her from her outspoken stance against civic tax hikes on commercial properties.

The two join incumbent councillor Don Irwin as the only three candidates to file so far. Irwin filed his nomination papers yesterday.
