Tonight marks the kick off of the Free Spirit Conservation Tour’s stop in Fort St. John. The tour offers a glimpse of a Royal BC Museum exhibit called "Free Spirit: You, Me and BC." The exhibit celebrates British Columbia’s 150th Anniversary, examining our history as a province and looking forward into our future. For the tour, the museum partnered with BC Hydro’s Powersmart team as well as local museums to bring northern communities regiospecific content, interactive theatre and other presentations on provincial history. Royal BC Museum Director Tim Willis says the organization hopes to look into BC’s past as well as the conservation of its future.
