Bail hearing for alleged kidnapper delayed

One of three men accused in a drug-related kidnapping has now had his bail hearing moved to October 20th. Michael Telford appeared in court Sept. 29 for a bail hearing, but court documents indicate his counsel requested an adjournment. A delay until October 20th was granted, with Telford agreeing to stay in custody until the new hearing. Telford, along with two other men, is accused of participating in the August 25th attack and kidnapping of a Fort St. John man. He faces several charges, including extorion, assault with a weapon and kidnapping.
