NPSS Girls Volleyball Team win Home Tournament

North Peace Secondary Girls hosted their first volleyball tournament of the year this weekend.

The went undefeated in their home tournament. They met Fort St. James and Hudson’s Hope in the round robin and defeated SPSS in the semi final meeting Beaverlodge in the finals; taking them is 3 straight sets.

The girls have this weekend off and travel to the Spruce Grove Panthers tournament the following weekend. There they will see teams from Vancouver and a few from overseas.

There will be a Coaches clinic for Volleyball Technical Level 1 in Dawson Creek on Oct 4-5/08. Contact the Dawson Creek Recreation department or go to www.volleyballbc.ca
