Police are continuing to investigate an incident of shots fired in Taylor.
At approximately 5:30am on the morning of September 20th, shots were fired into a home in the community. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that bullets had entered through the front window and became embedded in a back wall of the home.
Several occupants were in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured.
Constable Passarell of the Fort St. John RCMP says the incident bears some of the markers of gang violence, but it’s still to early in the investigation to determine if this incident was gang-related.

Forensic Identification has seized evidence from the scene, but the gauge of the firearm has not yet been determined.
