The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation has announced another windfall donation for their CT Scanner Fund.

Don and Darlene Loewen of D. Loewen Enterprises in Rose Prairie have donated $100,000 dollars towards the purchase of the Scanner for the Fort St. John General Hospital.

The new funds bring the Foundation’s total raised for the Scanner to $939,000 dollars, less than $400,000 dollars away from their goal.

The group hopes to raise the funds by January, with the machine to be in use as early as Spring 2009.
