The Province has transferred eleven hectares of land worth a total of 43 thousand dollars to the District of Hudson’s Hope for public park purposes.
Peace River North MLA Richard Neufeld made the announcement today on behalf of Agriculture and Lands Minister Stan Hagen. Mr. Neufeld said the government committed to fostering green, healthy and active communities, and this is part of that commitment.
The area is popular for bird and wildlife viewing and planned recreational activities include cross-country skiing, hiking and soccer.
