The annual Stamp out Hunger food drive has wrapped up and this year their totals are down. This was the 9th time Canada Post Employees have gone door to door collecting donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Lori Fox with the food drive says this still helped to fill the shelves of the food bank. [asset|aid=307|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=089c1750ce7db87a4352ef7adf7ad0dd-Lori Fox-1_1_Pub.mp3]
Canada Post believes part of the reason for the low numbers was the beautiful weather as most people were still out enjoying the outdoors. Lori says you can still make a donation if you were missed Saturday. [asset|aid=308|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=089c1750ce7db87a4352ef7adf7ad0dd-Lori Fox-2_1_Pub.mp3]
Canada Post and its employees hope to do the fundraiser again next year.
