Northern Health to Host Cancer Control Workshop September 15

Northern Health is looking to improve cancer control in the North, and they’re seeking the public’s input.

On September 15th, the authority will host all-day simultaneous workshops in Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Smithers and Terrace. The workshops will allow local residents to identify priorities for the Northern Cancer Control Strategy, which aims to enhance services such as prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and care services in the region.

Dan Le with Northern Health says the authority is asking anyone who would like to contribute to the discussion to attend. [asset|aid=239|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=Dan Le – Cancer Control_1_Pub.mp3]

Northern Health hasn’t determined their locations for the meetings, but Le is currently accepting registrations at 250-565-2130 or [email protected]
