“2010 Legacies Now” has announced Melissa Reed of Fort St. John and Christina Conrad of Fort Nelson have been invited to join a program, which provides opportunities for youth to gain leadership skills and make a difference in their community.
“Altitude Youth Experience”, now entering its second year, is part of “Spirit of BC”, a province-wide initiative supported by the Campbell government.
Melissa and Christina join 70 others from around the province who have been accepted into the program for 2008-09.
They will attend a three-day leadership retreat at Camp Summit in Squamish, beginning October 3rd and, they will become local Spirit of BC community committee members.
