Bicycle Fatality

One person is dead after a transport truck hit two cyclists last night in northwestern Alberta, in what could have been a hit-and-run accident.
It occurred on Highway 59, between range roads 115 and 120 and, it involved male and female cyclists and a tractor, pulling two trailers, all believed to be heading west.
The male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman, whose condition has not been disclosed, was taken to hospital in Grande Prairie .
We have no specific indication from police, that they are treating this as a hit and run incident.
However, they have confirmed the tractor trailer unit did not stop and, that they’re looking for witnesses to the accident.
