A resident of Sunset House, Alberta will be in court tomorrow (Thursday September 4th) facing several charges after an assault on an ATV rider.
Last Saturday a man riding an ATV beside the highway just outside Valleyview, Alberta, was allegedly attacked by a driver who drove his truck into the ditch and struck the ATV. The driver then allegedy sprayed gasoline from a jerry can on the man and threatened to light him on fire. The victim escaped unharmed.
Charges include attempted aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a vehicle, uttering threats, possession of a dangerous weapon and driving while impaired.
