The RCMP is again reminding motorists to use caution and obey posted limits as students return to school September 2nd.

Corporal Tom Woodall of the Fort St. John RCMP says that drivers should use caution not only in school zones, but also when approaching buses transporting students around the community.

Fines for speeding in school zones begin at 196 dollars. Corporal Woodall suggests using extra vigilance, as fines are higher for greater speeds.

School zones are in effect Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM throughout the school year.
