Petro-Canada’s Edmonton refinery will soon return to normal levels of production.
Earlier this month, a problem with the refinery’s catalytic cracking unit forced the plant to close.
The shutdown caused shortages at approximately 90 stations in Alberta and BC. Petro-Canada officials say a return to normal service will be gradual, although most affected stations are expected to be back in business in time for the Labour Day weekend.
