As we first reported some weeks ago, the National Energy Board will hold its hearing, into South Peace Spectra Energy pipeline expansion, tomorrow, in Dawson Creek.
The hearing is set to begin and, follows Spectra’s February announcement, its hoping to lay 17 kilometers of new pipeline parallel to it’s existing lines near Chetwynd.
The new line would carry gas from the Grizzly Valley area to Spectra’s Pine River Processing Plant and, it would add gathering capacity of more than 40 million cubic feet per day.
The project is part of a third phase expansion and, Spectra hopes to have it operational by November.
