While the Olympics in Beijing have come to an end, Beijing is now preparing for the Paralympics.
A Fort St. John athlete, Laura Jensen will be there participating in a number of swimming events. Laura left Vancouver on Friday for Osaka Japan where she will spend the next two weeks preparing for the Games.
Laura is a world class Paralympic swimmer and will participate in 7 different events at the Water Cube in China starting on September 7th.
In previous international competitions Laura was a member of the Canadian 400 metre Freestyle Relay Team that picked up a silver medal.
