R-C-M-P have not yet determined the whereabouts of two persons who may have been residing in the Columbus Hotel in Prince George, which was destroyed by fire this morning.
The fire destroyed the landmark Columbus Hotel, but there is a fear at this hour that 2 people may be trapped in the Hotel. There are two guest who were registered at the hotel that have not been accounted for.
Prince George R-C-M-P say the old building was home to about 10 long-term tenants and six of them had to be rescued by ladder after firefighters arrived.
A cause of the fires is under investigation.
The fire has now been brought under control.
A thorough search of the scene will be performed when entry is
possible.
