Mayor on Youth Curfew

Mayor Jim Eglinski used an appearance on Issues and Answers this morning, to weigh in with more on his position regarding the possible impostion of a youth curfew in Fort St. John.
He started by talking about some recent personal U.S. based internet research…

The idea of a curfew drew some solid support among several members of city council, when it was presented last week, as a possbile means of combatting the escalation of late night noise and vandalism in the city.
However, with the Mayor raising some reservations and, calling for more public input, the matter was referred to city administration for more research and study.
