The bail hearing for an Edmonton teen charged with the murder of a 17-year-old Edmonton girl in Fort St. John, has been put over for another week.
The accused, who was also 17 when he was charged with second-degree murder, after the May 18th slaying, has been in custody for more than 13 weeks.
The Crown’s office says additional disclosure to the defence was required before a hearing could take place and, the accused will be back in court next Wednesday
The RCMP has yet to release how the victim died, saying only that she was found with critical injuries in a Fort St. John apartment suite.
Neither the accused nor the victim can be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
