We’re expecting to get the numbers on yesterday’s sale of oil and gas rights in BC, later this morning.
136 parcels covering nearly 116 thousand hecatres were offered but, the province will be hard pressed to post the numbers, of last month’s sale.
It set an all-time record of over 610 million dollars in bonus bids and, pushed both the calendar and fiscal year totals, to new record highs, well over one billion dollars.
In fact in just the last three months, the sales have produced over 1.2 billion dollars in government revenue.
