The Dawson Creek RCMP are warning the public about a phone scam.
A unknown caller identifies himself as working in a program with the RCMP to educate children on child predators.
The caller asks for donations to the program that is going to be implemented in the schools this coming school year.
The RCMP says they are not involved in this matter and are warning the public to not give out any personal information, credit card information or banking information over the phone.
