The Paladin Black Sox will play game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Wednesday at 6:30. Originally scheduled for 7 pm, the game has been moved up to ensure there will be enough light to finish.

There wasn’t when Friday’s game 1 had to be called after 5 innings due to darkness. That was good news for the Sox, who were leading 3-2 in a great defensive game and pitchers’ duel. Since they were ahead, the Sox were credited with the win, and went ahead 1-0 in the series.

Games 2 and 3 were played on Sunday in Rycroft, and the Rage made the most of home field advantage and some great defensive play. They won game 2 with 14-4, and game 3 at 7-1.

The Rage now lead the series 2-1, with game 5, if necessary, scheduled for Saturday in Rycroft.

Come on out and support the Sox, as they try to force a fifth and deciding game. The game is at the Kin Park diamond (#9) on the college side.
