Hudson’s Hope area residents and visitors will have enhanced opportunities to access local heritage, thanks to an investment by the Federal Government. Prince George/Peace River MP, Jay Hill, has announced nearly $8,000 in funding for the Hudson’s Hope Historical Society.
Established in the nation’s centennial year of 1967, the Society owns and operates the museum and will use the federal funding to undertake a specialized equipment project to upgrade the facilities museological standards. The project will involve the purchase and installation of an environmental monitoring system, lighting, smoke detectors, and a dinosaur fossil display unit.
