Storm knocked out power in Dawson Creek

The storm currently over Fort St. John has taken its toll on the community of Dawson Creek.

The same storm knocked out power for about 2,700 customers in Dawson Creek for about an hour. The cause of the outage was lightning.

A heavy rain fall warning and severe thunderstorm warning remain in effect for the North Peace.
