TELUS is working to restore telephone service to about 1,100 customers in the Montney area who lost service around 10:00 a.m.
TELUS technicians in the area are tracing the source of the outage, and suspect it is related to storm activity in the region.
Local emergency operations have been notified and are taking the appropriate measures.
