John Robert Coulson could face up to 4 years in jail following an incident in Dawson Creek with an axe.

In Prince George provincial court today, the Crown recommended at 4 year sentence following a dispute Coulson had with a Dawson Creek man on July 12th. Coulson attacked the man with an axe, yelling he would kill him. In the end he cut off the victim’s thumb and injured his fingers.

The victim says he can no longer work with machinery and is losing $3,000 a month, because he is out of work. The victim also stated the injury is unbearable, and it interferes with his sleep at night.
