Four racers from the Taylor Speedway went to Sangudo, Alberta over the weekend, for the first ever Mini Challenge.
Calvin Hildebrand, Gordon Gabert, Colton Gabert, and Aaron Tubbs all took their stock cars from the Taylor speedway for the event.
Even though a lot of the cars at Sangudo were souped up, the guys brought home the hardware. Calvin Hildebrand won the overall trophy, finishing in first in total points and in the main event.
Gord Gabert added to the Taylor crew’s haul, ending in third place overall.
You can see more of these racers first hand next weekend, as they take part in Thunder in the Valley at the Taylor Speedway – Saturday at 3 pm and Sunday at 1 pm.
