A new low cost charter air line could offer services from Grande Prairie
The new service called NewAir’s hopes to start flying this fall with 3 planes to vacation destinations like Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. NewAir hopes to tap into niche markets, first here in Western Canada and eventually other parts of the country.
Tim Morgan heads up NewAir and he says they are focusing on point-to-point service, saying that consumers in smaller Canadian cities get frustrated whenever they are forced to make stopovers at larger airports before arriving at their final destinations.
NewAir has yet to set it’s non-stop charter schedules but has told investors that Canadian markets like Regina, Saskatoon, Kelowna, Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie are on the list.
