The Dawson Creek RCMP is looking for the public’s help in solving a couple of vehicle thefts.
Yesterday morning, an 18 foot flat-deck trailer was stolen from a welding shop. It was in turn used to haul away the chassis of a restored 84 GMC pickup from a restoration shop.
The RCMP describes the trailer as 18′ long, black with white pin stripes. It has a large plastic box near the hitch.
The chassis is black, with engine, transmission, and silver wheels installed. The engine may be covered with a blue tarp.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call the Dawson Creek detachment, at 250-784-3700, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
